One elementary school teacher from Japan's Aichi Prefecture was fired Tuesday for allegedly forcing indecent acts on students and another from the same central Japan area was effectively forced to quit his job for sending child pornography. Toshihiro Ota, 30, was indicted on a charge of forcibly committing indecent acts on two girls at an elementary school in Chita, Aichi, around May, while Koji Uda, a year-old teacher at an elementary school in Nagoya, persuaded two young girls to send him nude photos. Mr Ota had been arrested in for allegedly sending child pornography online while working at an elementary school in Saitama Prefecture, but later managed to be hired by the Chita board of education after changing his legal name in the family registry. In addition to the indecent acts against the two girls, allegedly committed inside a school bathroom, he was served a fresh arrest warrant on Monday for a suspected indecent act against another. He had been working at the school as a temporary teacher before he was fired on Tuesday. Mr Uda, meanwhile, convinced a female junior high school student in Hokkaido and another in Nagasaki Prefecture to send indecent photos of themselves between October and November after becoming acquainted with them through a smartphone game. Mr Uda was arrested in June and was later ordered by a court to pay , yen 90, baht in fines. The Nagoya board of education on Tuesday suspended him from work for six months, and he quit immediately. Two elementary school students in Louisiana were arrested after a girl sent nude photos of herself to a boy who then shared them on Snapchat, police said. The students at Bonnie Ecole Elementary School were arrested Wednesday after school administrators found a male student in possession of nude photographs of a female classmate. A subsequent investigation revealed that the male student sent the racy photographs to several other students throughout the school via Snapchat, police in Slidell said Thursday. Both students, who were not identified, were arrested on charges of distribution of child pornography and were later released into the custody of their parents, police said. A police spokesman told the Times-Picayune that the department will not disclose the age or grade of either student. A school district spokeswoman also declined to comment, citing privacy laws, according to the newspaper.
GRAND BLANC, Michigan -- After getting the freedom to use their cellphones in school earlier this year, some Grand Blanc High School students are facing tough penalties for improper use and may find themselves in court after a picture of a partially nude student was spread throughout the school via cellphone. Principal Jennifer Hammond said they became aware of the situation after a parent informed them, and that the picture started being shared about two to three weeks ago. Grand Blanc police Det. Robert McFadden, liaison officer for the school, said students told him that a freshman girl had taken a picture of herself topless and sent it via cellphone to her boyfriend.
